Callie is a compassionate therapist whose empathy for all people helps clients feel safe, heard, and understood. With years of experience as an outpatient therapist and a strong foundation working in the child welfare system, she brings deep insight into how trauma impacts individuals and families. Many of Callie’s clients are navigating life changes, living with anxiety or depression, or working to heal from difficult past experiences. She offers support that is compassionate, non-judgmental, and personalized for each individual.

Callie especially enjoys helping clients rebuild their sense of self, whether they are adjusting to new roles in life or recovering from emotionally harmful relationships. Clients often find her sessions honest, supportive, and grounded in empathy. Callie also brings a dose of lighthearted humor and the kind of dry wit that helps make difficult work a little more manageable.

Callie uses a blend of therapeutic approaches that are person-centered and trauma-informed. She draws on techniques and skills from CBT, DBT, emotionally-focused therapy, narrative therapy, and humanistic therapy.  Callie has also received advanced training in trauma therapy and specializes in using the AIR Network model and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), which can be helpful for clients working through lingering effects of trauma at their own pace.

Outside of therapy, Callie enjoys soaking up sunshine during the warmer months and cozying up indoors when the cold sets in, trying to pretend winter doesn’t exist!

Callie holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University, Mankato and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a focus on trauma-informed care.
